Bingo. Self-doubt can be a self-fulfilling prophesy.

I spent my first years in the US Air Force suffering from Imposter Syndrome.

Once I figured out who I was and what I was supposed to do, I was off and running.

Retired from the USAF after thirty years as a colonel, deputy director of logistics for a major command.

I suffered the same thing when I joined Southwestern Bell. It lasted for years. I finally found a niche in Public Safety 9-1-1, which everyone else was afraid to touch. Perfect!
